Charming and eye-catching orange leather tulip chair (skai). Vintage office chair (bucket chair) dating back to the 1970s.
No brand labels or indication (also no casting stamps found in the base). Shell shape and seat finished in orange leather (or skai). Removable cushion, stuffed with mousse and removable cover (opening by zipper closure). Possibly a previous professional restoration, very nice stitching is almost everywhere in tact. Leather shows no cracks or tears (overall - please see details in pictures and "signs of usage". Elegant base (diameter base measures 40cm) in plastic (inside there is a shaft of metal). Plastic slightly discolored and minimal scratches - typical for used products (see also “ signs of usage ”).
Two seams of the leather are very slightly and superficially damaged. Plastic base shows typical but slight “yellowing” due to exposure to UV light. Plastic of the tubular part of the base shows two cracks but these can be turned backwards (and possibly still glued/repaired. We can also supply a replacement piece (upper part of base) but there will be a color difference in the base).
At the bottom is a small hole in the leather (or skai). See photos for these defects. Loose seat cushion (and underlying support) in very good condition. Dimensions: seat height 55cm. Width 55cm, depth 55 cm height 85cm.
